Global Currents is a Foreign Policy Association audio series that examines the cross-section of business, foreign policy and globalization. It is available on the Foreign Policy Blogs network and on iTunes as a podcast.

About the Host:

Sarwar Kashmeri advises corporations in the areas of strategic communications and marketing strategy. His book, America and Europe after 9/11 and Iraq: The Great Divide, was published by Praeger Security International on November 30, 2006.

It is based on his experience as a transatlantic businessman, and on private conversations with eminent leaders including former President, George H. W. Bush; former British prime-minister, John Major; former Secretary of State James A Baker, III; Senator Chuck Hagel, and Generals Wesley Clark and Brent Scowcroft.

Kashmeri is host of “Global Currents” the Foreign Policy Association’s bi-weekly podcast series, and NH-2008 a program of The Eagle Times of New Hampshire and its parent: Twin State Valley Media Network. NH-2008 is a series of conversations and podcasts with Democratic and Reputlican candidates as they compete for their party’s nomination as President of the United States. He was the Sunday Valley News business columnist from 2004-2007.
