I appreciate hearing what Charles Martin had to say. He seems to have a good perspective on the issues and their impact. His take on the efforts of the administration rated 9 and the actual impact on the economy rated 4 was probably accurate. People are less enamored with the big financial conglomerates and insurance companies.
 Jobs, jobs, jobs is the mantra - I agree. So many people are losing jobs. In some families at our school both parents have lost their jobs. Its the worst I've experienced in 43 years of teaching. You hear about more and more people each week.
I feel soooo fortunate to have a good job and one that I enjoy. I am thankful everyday!
